Kaiju: Error Codes & Solutions
Error Code | Description | Solution |
---|---|---|
A - Communication Failures | ||
bA | Rear Drive Communication Failure | Check the integrity of the communication cable wiring or inspect for broken wires. |
FA | Front Drive Communication Failure | Check for wiring issues or broken connections. |
B - Throttle & Hall Sensor Issues | ||
b | Acceleration Finger Throttle Failure | Replace the finger throttle. |
FC | Front Motor Hall Failure | Inspect the motor hall communication wiring. If no issues are found, replace the motor. |
bC | Rear Motor Hall Failure | Same as front motor hall failure – check wiring first, then replace the motor if necessary. |
E - Battery & Voltage Issues | ||
E | Under-Voltage Alarm |
Check if the battery voltage is low. Charge the battery and test it. Try using a fully charged battery. If the battery power is normal but the error persists, replace the controller. |
F - Controller Overcurrent Issues | ||
FF | Front Drive Controller Overcurrent Alarm | The controller’s internal MOS tube may have short-circuited. If the error remains after shutting down, replace the controller. |
bF | Rear Controller Overcurrent Alarm | This can happen during high-speed riding over potholes or sudden obstacles, causing high resistance and triggering protection mode. Restart the motor or rotate it manually to reset. |
dF | Dual Controller Overcurrent Alarm | Same as above—try resetting; if the issue persists, inspect or replace controllers. |
H - Brake Failure | ||
H | Brake Failure | Check if the brake handle Hall switch is properly closed. If no issue is found, replace the brake handle. |
L - Drive Starting Current Abnormalities | ||
bL | Rear Drive Starting Current Abnormality | Remove and reinsert the rear drive battery, then restart. If the issue persists, replace the rear drive controller. |
FL | Front Drive Starting Current Abnormality | Remove and reinsert the front drive battery, then restart. If unresolved, replace the front drive controller. |
D - Motor Blocking Issues | ||
Fd | Front Motor Blocking Alarm | Try pushing the motor to reset. If the issue persists, replace the controller or motor. |
bd | Rear Motor Blocking Alarm | Same as front motor blocking—push to reset, then replace if necessary. |
dd | Front & Rear Motor Blocking Alarm | Check both motors and controllers for issues, following the same troubleshooting steps. |
Aurora: Error Codes & Solutions
Error Code | Description | Solution |
---|---|---|
A - Communication Failure | ||
A | Communication Failure | Check the integrity of the communication line wiring. |
B - Acceleration Dial Failure | ||
b | Acceleration Dial Failure | Replace the finger throttle. |
C or C0 - Motor Hall Failure | ||
C | Motor Hall Failure | Check the integrity of the motor Hall communication line wiring. If no abnormalities are found, replace the motor. |
E or E0 - Undervoltage Alarm | ||
E | Undervoltage Alarm | Check if the battery voltage is low. Charge the battery and test it. Alternatively, replace with a battery that has sufficient power for testing. If the battery power is normal, replace the controller and test. |
F or F0 - Overcurrent Alarm | ||
F | Overcurrent Alarm | The internal MOS tube of the controller may have broken down, causing a short circuit. If the issue persists after shutting down, replace the controller. During high-speed riding, if you encounter potholes or stalls, the motor may experience strong resistance, triggering a large reverse current that activates protection mode. This will disappear after shutdown and restart. |
