I bought this to use around the farm. It is silent for checking livestock, it handles the dirt tracks easily. Due to a accident I can't sit on a bike or in a ute, so standing on the scooter has helped me get around.
Customer service has been awesome when asking questions as there hasn'tbeen any problems. Delivery to regional NSW was very fast. This scooter is very solid and well build. I give this 5 stars👍
cheers Phil
The simple commute …… well I got the edgerunner ….. it’s fast, it’s powerful, it’ pushes hard, . Customer service has been good when buying it but any outside questions had been answered after purchase .
It certainly feels stable and effortless when on it. I have big test for it this week so let’s see . Haven’t stopped loving it and a long term investment for some fun and outback time ….
It’s great not to deal with Asian / Chinese imported machines .
One piece of advice I was given when looking was buy Australian only . Took me three years of research. So it’s worth putting time into it.
So here’s a personal experience with TSC of my own. I ordered the Kaiju and super impressed with it. Easy to ride and very capable off road. TSC was so easy to deal with and will get my business again when buy a scooter for my wife very soon. Only downside is my son has a Segway ZT3 pro and I get stuck having to ride his scooter because he’s taken off on my Kaiju😂
The Kaiju Simple Commute e-scooter has seriously exceeded my expectations. The build quality is outstanding everything feels solid, durable, and designed to handle more than just smooth city streets. It’s powerful without being overwhelming, and the performance really shines when you take it off-road.
Where I live, there are a lot of hills and uneven terrain, and this scooter handles all of it without any issues. I was especially surprised when it got one of my family members who’s over 100kg up a very steep hill with ease >30 degrees.
The ground clearance and suspension are standout features. It handles curbs, gravel, bumps, and even small jumps effortlessly. Nothing really fazes it, it just absorbs the terrain and keeps going. If you’re someone who likes a bit of adventure in your ride, this is easily one of the best off-road scooters out there.
It’s also very user-friendly. The controls are intuitive, the menu is very easy to navigate, and it’s simple to move around when powered on.
On top of that, Simple Commute’s communication and service have been excellent, which adds confidence to the purchase.
Overall, it’s well worth the money. I’d absolutely buy from TSC team again.
I found that the instruction booklet was vague in the description of items particularly the NFC Card which turn out to be non- existence. However I found that the after sales service and responses were excellent. Fast delivery too.
A scooter that’s comfortable for daily work use, easy to assemble, and most importantly has excellent customer service that’s always responsive whenever there are questions. Love it.
I was blown away ordered the scooter and delivery came the very next day on a Saturday 💪🏽💪🏽
Scooter feels very stable and solid. Was bit confused on getting her started, sent a message on a Sunday and a reply came through within 10 minutes and bang 💥 I was on the road . Well done guys
There’s nothing difficult about operating these scooters, but like any new form of transport it takes a little time to get comfortable. As you ride more, your confidence naturally builds. If you’re feeling a bit unsure at first, it’s a good idea to start on quiet park tracks.
The Kaiju model has multiple gear selections. First gear limits the speed to around 7 km/h, which is perfect for getting used to it, and it won’t go any faster unless you select a higher gear.
I bought the sturdy Kaiju off road model with the larger wheels and dual motors to help move machinery around the farm so I don’t have to walk back. It handles dirt and gravel tracks easily, and the adjustable spring suspension makes the ride much softer.
I’ve had the scooter for a few weeks now and couldn’t be happier with the purchase 👍🏼
The Kaiju eScooter from The Simple Commute is honestly the best scooter I’ve ever ridden. It’s incredibly powerful with the dual motors, handles hills and rough roads easily, and the suspension makes the ride buttery smooth! With incredibly strong disc brakes, you can be sure to ride safely. It's incredibly simple charging system makes it super easy to charge the battery and also super easy to remove as well. The phone mount and hardshell case also make it super convenient to carry around you essentials, while knowing they're safe. Overall it's really solid, fast, and well built. Highly recommend if you want a serious e-scooter for any type of terrain 🔥
This team can’t do enough to help
The shipment of Kaiju scooters was a little longer coming through customs and would miss my timeline to take away with me.
But this didn’t stop the guys changing the delivery address so I could pick it up in another state where we were going with our caravan
I’ve ridden it quite a bit and are loving it.
Well done team
I would highly recommend to buy any scooter through these guys
So getting off a 350w scooter to the kaiju.
Like getting out of a grandma’s car and jumping into a drag car.
Goes well in the dirt, no way a smaller scooter can handle what I’ve put Kaiju through already.
Rough road or footpaths are no problem with the suspension- no blury vision.
Two thumbs up.
Keep up the good work TSC.
The Kaiju All-Terrain Dual Motor Electric Scooter
"The Apex Predator of Urban and Off-Road Commuting"
The electric scooter market is flooded with "last-mile" solutions that feel like toys. Then there is the Kaiju. Aptly named after the giant monsters of cinema, this scooter is an absolute beast designed for those who demand more than just a commute. After diving deep into its specs and build quality, it’s clear that the Kaiju isn't just a mode of transport—it’s a high-performance machine engineered for Australian conditions.
1. Unbelievable Power & Performance
The heart of the Kaiju lies in its Dual 1200W Motors. While many competitors offer single motors or lower-wattage dual setups, the Kaiju delivers a combined peak power of 3600W.
* Acceleration: The torque is instantaneous. Whether you are taking off from a stoplight or tackling a steep 30° incline, the dual motors provide a level of "pull" that feels effortless.
* Speed: While it comes restricted to 25 km/h to meet local regulations, the Kaiju can be unlocked for private property use to reach a blistering 50 km/h.
* Range: It boasts a massive 100km maximum range. This puts it in the top tier of long-distance scooters, allowing for multi-day commuting without the "range anxiety" typically associated with electric micro-mobility.
2. Rugged Reliability & Build Quality
Reliability is where the Kaiju truly separates itself from the pack. It is built for the harsh Australian terrain—from cracked suburban pavements to gravel trails.
* Triple Spring Suspension: This is a standout feature. Most scooters offer a basic single-spring setup, but the Kaiju utilizes a triple-spring system that acts like a mountain bike's suspension. It neutralizes vibrations and heavy impacts, ensuring a "floating" feel even on rough surfaces.
* 11-inch All-Terrain Tubeless Tyres: These are huge, puncture-resistant tyres. The tubeless design means fewer flats and better grip. At 11 inches, they provide a much larger contact patch with the road than standard 8 or 10-inch tyres, offering incredible stability at high speeds.
* High Payload: With a 140kg max load capacity, the frame is reinforced to handle larger riders and heavy gear without compromising the integrity of the stem or deck.
3. Industry-Leading Features & Specs
The Kaiju doesn't just rely on raw power; it’s packed with smart, user-centric features:
* Removable Battery System: This is a game-changer for apartment dwellers or office workers. You can leave the heavy scooter in the garage or hallway and take the battery inside to charge at any standard outlet.
* Precision Braking: Safety matches speed here. The Kaiju is equipped with 16cm front and rear disc brakes, providing sharp, modulated stopping power that is essential when you're moving at 50 km/h.
* Safety Certifications: Unlike many "no-name" brands, the Kaiju is fully certified with UL2272, CE, and RoHS standards. This means the battery and electrical systems have undergone rigorous fire and safety testing.
* 24-Month Warranty: The Simple Commute backs this machine with a 2-year warranty, which is double the industry standard of 12 months. This speaks volumes about their confidence in the product's longevity.
The Verdict
The Kaiju All-Terrain Scooter is a powerhouse that refuses to compromise. It bridges the gap between a daily commuter and an off-road adventurer.
Best for:
* Riders who need to conquer steep hills.
* Long-distance commuters who don't want to charge every day.
* Anyone looking for a "built-to-last" machine with a local Australian warranty.
If you are looking for unbelievable quality and high-octane performance, the Kaiju is arguably the best value-for-money dual-motor scooter currently on the market. It doesn't just move you; it dominates the road.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
Note: Always check your local state regulations regarding e-scooter use on public roads.

Ordered my Kaiju on Boxing day was sent the next day.
It can go anywhere I could go on a Mt bike.
Taken it camping a couple of times and it’s great to see areas I would normally get to.
I’m well under 6 foot tall but it handles really well.
