Do we repair batteries?
Unfortunately, we do not repair batteries. However, please get in touch with our support team, and we will be more than happy to source you with a battery.

The Simple Commute Repair Center Storage Policy
Once we notify you that your e-scooter repair is complete, please pick up your scooter or pay the return shipping invoice within 2 weeks. After this period, a storage fee of $25 per day will apply, up to a maximum of 30 days.
We’ll send you reminder notifications during this time. If the invoice remains unpaid or the scooter is not picked up after 30 days, the scooter will become the property of The Simple Commute.
This policy helps us manage limited storage space at our repair centers.
Repair Shipping/Packaging Requirements
To ensure your e-scooter arrives safely, you can obtain third-party packaging from couriers or most hardware stores for a fee. Proper packaging includes:
- A sufficiently large cardboard box (avoid taping multiple boxes together)
- Ample packing material, such as styrofoam blocks, bubble wrap, or packing peanuts, to protect your scooter from damage during shipping.
Improper packaging can lead to significant damage and may render the scooter unsafe for handling by couriers, technicians, and yourself. Please note that our warranty does not cover any damage incurred during shipping if the scooter is not packed correctly.
Purchasing Packaging from Us
If available, you may purchase a box directly from us, but availability cannot be guaranteed due to limited supply. For more details, start a Live Chat below.
Servicing Locations
If your e-scooter needs repair, please first check our Warranty Policy to confirm your warranty eligibility and understand the repair process for both covered and non-covered scooters.
Our repair services are available through The Simple Commute Repair Centre (8/1001 Mountain Hwy, Boronia , Victoria 3155, Australia) .

Repair timeline
Repair turnaround times depend on the availability of spare parts.
If parts are available, the average turnaround time is approximately 3-5 days. If parts need to be ordered from our main warehouse, expect a turnaround time of about 10-15 days. For parts ordered from our factory partners, the minimum turnaround time is 30 days.

The Simple Commute Repair Process
Step 1: Submit Repair Form
To start, click "Book a Repair" below to fill out the repair form.
Step 2: Get Your Scooter to Us
After submitting the form, our team will provide you with the option to create a shipping label or book a drop-off appointment, depending on your location.
Step 3: Payment
If payment is required, our team will contact you and send an invoice via email.
Step 4: Your Scooter Will Be Repaired
Once payment is received, we’ll proceed with the repair. You’ll be contacted when your scooter is ready for pickup.
If you shipped your scooter, we’ll send it back to you and provide tracking information via email.
